Marcia Compton is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Doctorate in Counseling specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Indianapolis, Indiana.
With over eleven years experience as a counselor and family therapist, and as a graduate of Cincinnati Christian University and Ashland Theological Seminary specializing in relational therapy, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are depression, anxiety,anger management, substance abuse, relationship issues, divorces issues, domestic violence, abuse issues,spiritual issues and issues of faith.
In addition to being a relationship therapist, Marcia has presented at conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of Stress Management, Domestic Violence and Smoking Cessation. Marcia also teaches classes in Psychology and Sociology at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Marcia is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.
